Kaya Natin! Movement for Good Governance and Ethical Leadership celebrated its 9th founding anniversary at the Avenue Plaza Hotel in Naga City last August 17 and 18.
Kaya Natin is a non-profit organization that was established in the year 2008 with the main purpose of promoting and pursuing good governance and ethical leadership in the country. KN Movement was born from the collective ideas of the late DILG Secretary Jesse Robredo, Former Governor of Pampanga Ed Panlilio, and former Governor of Isabela, Grace Padaca.
The three leaders met in Club Filipino in July 2008 through Mr. Harvey Keh, who set up the meeting, and there they shared the same experiences and thought that they could support each other. At present, Vice President Leni Robredo, Senator Bam Aquino, and Senator Kiko Pangilinan are members of the movement and are also present at the said celebration.
KN is creating activities and opportunities to hone young student leaders and local government officials to become effective, ethical, and empowered leaders. They also believe that there is no dream or goal that we can’t achieve if we work together.
